0003334: Changes to RBL settings are not applied immediately on 2.4.1 CE
When enabling/disabling RBL's and saving the settings using the Save button, settings are not applied immediately.

You have to restart the firewall or use the restartsmtpscan.py script to activate the changed settings.

The Save button should trigger the restartsmtpscan.py script to reload the correct settings.

hey baldy!

seems that you are right but I have to double check, due to the fact that even an sa-update should be enough...

how did you show that the rules are not applied while pressing the "save" button?

thanks in advance!

Lo

Hi Lo,

I sent an email to one of my customers which bounced due to a blacklisting at dnsbl.

I then logged in and disabled the blacklist in the GUI.

I then resent the email, which was again bounced by dnsbl. (same error message).

After using restartsmtpscan.py I was able to send the email.

Regards,

Baldy
