0003348: EFW Community version 2.4.1. clean install. Swap partition size 0.
When installing EFW Community 2.4.1 on 10Gb and 20Gb HDD from ISO image EFW doesn't create any swap partition or file. FSTAB contains string for swap (uuid=XXXXXXXX none swap sw 0 0), but "cat /proc/swaps" shows noting.

Dashboard doesn't show any information about swap usage also. Swap size is showed as zeros in Status menu.
If I create swap partition manually and turn it on, it works fine.

Hi all,

Found a manual fix myself.

Open a SSH session to the machine.
Edit /etc/fstab.

There should be 2 lines similar to (the part after UUID= is different per machine):

# /dev/local/swap -- converted during upgrade to 2.3
UUID=bf0fcf52-c066-448d-bdb0-a5311eccb9e0 none swap sw 0 0

Just replace the UUID=f0fcf52-c066-448d-bdb0-a5311eccb9e0 with /dev/local/swap

Lines should be :

# /dev/local/swap -- converted during upgrade to 2.3
/dev/local/swap none swap sw 0 0

Save the fstab file.

To enable the swap file just use the following commands or reboot the machine.

swapoff -a
swapon -a
