0003549: High event notification email rate
I got this message repeated in 3500 emails over the weekend because of the high rate (2 mails per minute):

This notification has been sent to you from your Endian UTM Appliance
named xxx at 2011-03-20T07:53:42+01:00. The email was triggered by
the event described below:

Disk / is getting full!
Space usage is bejond watermark of "95%".

Administrator interaction is required!

Endian Firewall <>

This happens for uplinks down as well.

previous title: Event notification on Disk full sends 2 emails per minute

But actually this rate is true also for uplinks down and maybe other events..
2011-09-02 08:16
well, we have no notification queue which wouls send only once. notification will be sent on every event and the disk full event happens on every monit check
this of course is not the ideal solution

can't be changed with the help of the timeout option in monit?
