Summary | 0001179: make software versions tell you in a simplier way which interface is green after first boot (put ever interface in green?)
Description | After install and restart there is not clear wich interface is selected as default green interface after find out wich eth is used for .. endian is reachable and can be firsttime configured ... matter is, that there's no simple way to see wich interface is currently used as green ... the default selected isn't it. so just play lotto if u took the right one (currently used as green) if not, try the connectors to figure out or reset to factory defaults and try again to get the curently connected interface (tested one time)

look at /etc/businfotab in console , it will tell which pci id is ethX. then use 'lspci' to know which card it is ... |

ok, this will work, too. thx but i mean it's not very comfortable. select the current assigned (from install) in the webconfig will be much more comfortable. greetz |
