|Summary||0002665: VPN to farend Netgear, once traffic routes over link, Endian server halts - no console response|
|Description||I've recently installed Endian 2.3 on an HP DL385 server (2.8Ghz Xeon/2GB ram/ 18GB Raid 1).|
Once I deployed it, I created an IPSEC tunnel back to my location, which has a Netgear FVX538. The tunnel shows connected on both sides. The second I point traffic from the Endian-side network over the link (from the current gateway), Endian halts. Console has no response at all and web page fails. I have to power-cycle to restore service.
I'm new to Endian, so I'm not too sure where to grab the logs (except from the web interface), or if its even getting a chance to write to the logs when it fails. If you tell me what you need, I'll be happy to extract it.
