Summary | 0002726: Implement passive OS fingerprinting
Description | Look at this: http://lcamtuf.coredump.cx/p0f.shtml [^] I saw this is implemented in pfSense and it would be great to see it also in efw. What can do this for us? With p0f we can have rules that only allow traffic for windows, solaris, ... systems Would really be a nice feature. P0f does not generate ANY additional network traffic, direct or indirect. No name lookups, no mysterious probes, no ARIN queries, nothing. How? It's simple: magic. Find out more here: http://lcamtuf.coredump.cx/p0f/README [^]
