Summary | 0003580: Manually added rules have same IDs as Emerging Threats rules
Description | I added snort.org rules to snort by copying them to /etc/snort/rules/custom (using Putty). And now custom rules have same IDs as Emerging Threats rules. For example if i uncheck "custom/deleted.rules" they stay checked, but suddenly "auto/emerging-dns.rules" became unchecked. See screenshots for details.
