Summary | 0003605: Green interface goes down
Description | I have an endian firewall 2.4 version. At times The LAN interface goes down and due to this the users loses connection to the wan. We have confirmed with ISP and there is no packet loss from ISP end. When the Internet connectivity is lost we try to ping to the Green interface and it shows "request timed out" . We have tried with same configuration back ups in different Machines but we got the same response and hence we concluded that this is not a hardware issue. Please give me a solution. we have critical processes running in our environment and we are facing a lot of project issues because of this.
Additional Information | Since there is no default events to notify the green interface status we are not able to get an event notification on this

Hi hijasahmed, can you explain your configuration in more details? Moreover, if you have the chance, when the problem arises, can you connect directly (e.g. with serial cable) to the appliance and post here the output of "ifconfig" and "ip link sh"? Thanks in advance! Lo ps: please hide all the sensitive data (static ip, etc...) before posting! :) |
